Dainty Doll Blusher 'You Are My Sunshine'

Dainty Doll Powder Blush 'You Are My Sunshine'

As I'm sure you all know, Fragrance Direct had a lot of Dainty Doll stock recently at brilliant prices. Some of the products were terrible, no use to man nor beast BUT the blushers I ordered are flippin' brilliant! I loved them so much that I placed another order. The blushers have sold out now but you can still find them at full price (£13.50) from the likes of Boots. Who wants to pay full price though?! After a snoop online I found them on HalfPricePerfumes they are slightly more expensive at £3.99 for cream blushers and £6.50 for powder blushers but still nowhere near their RRP.

'You Are My Sunshine' is 'Orange County Girl' (swatches) in powder form. It's a gorgeous soft peachy gold shade and a lot more pigmented than OCG making it great for anyone who isn't very pale. I don't think much colour will show up on darker skintones but it would make a lovely highlighter. I've been wearing it on it's own or dusting a tiny bit on top of OCG to help it last a bit longer throughout the day.

The formula is soft and smooth, doesn't highlight enlarged pores or cling to any dry areas. The compact is really sturdy, shuts securely and has a good sized mirror. I don't have any complaints :)

What do you think of Dainty Doll Blushers?
How many did you get your hands on while they were only £1.99?

    1. I haven't tried Coralista but the swatches always look so pretty! Think Coralista might be more on the pink side.

    1. It is really pigmented but if you use a light hand you get more sheen than colour.

    1. The concealer pen is an absolute joke, so glad I only paid £1.99 for it! I can't fault the blush though, they're so nice.

  8. Are the blushers good then? I've not heard anything positive about the foundations or the concealoers.
