Lovely Lanolips Perfect Purse Sized Party Essentials 'NEW Golden Ointment Tin' & '101 Ointment'

If you've been following my blog for a while now you will know when it comes to lip care my first stop is Lanolips! I've never used any lip treatment/balm that works instantly and when left on overnight on seriously dry, chapped lips the results are amazing. I reviewed 2 variations of the Lip Ointment back in May (link) and even though I've tried numerous other lip balms since then, I always come back to Lanolips.

These perfect purse-sized party essentials are ideal for this time of year with all the upcoming festivals. They're multipurpose, take up no space at all and actually work. Just like the larger versions, these mini's are 100% clean ultra-pure grade lanolin.

Lanolips 101 Ointment 9g/£7.99*: On the lips, 101 Ointment has the same texture and effect I mentioned in the review post I've linked above. The only differences are - it's unscented (to my nose), its completely clear once on the lips and isn't tinted nor does it contain any shimmer so because of that I've been using it as my night time lip treatment. I adore the texture of the Lip Ointments, they're almost solid but melt on contact with the skin. The exclusive formula is able to hold over 200% of its own moisture which is why it works so quickly to repair dry, cracked lips.

Golden Ointment Tin 12.5g/£7.99*: The famed 100% natural Golden Ointment formula is housed inside an adorable, collectable vintage inspired tin. The tin is secure, it isn't flimsy with an ill fitting lid making it a good product to chuck in your bag. It can be used to treat any dry skin areas. I've been using it on the backs of my hands as they've been so dry lately, massaging it into my cuticles before bed and even using it on my lips. The Golden Ointment smells good enough to eat! It contains antibacterial Manuka honey which to me smells a bit like caramel. It's such a lovely scent, not artificial or overpowering at all.

Even if you don't have any plans of going on holiday or throwing shapes at a few festivals this year these mini versions are a brilliant way to try the products and as you can guess, I really recommend them especially if you're someone who always has chapped lips.

    1. The golden ointment is lovely, it's a lot thinner than the balm.
