Maybelline Baby Lips 'Pink Punch'

Maybelline Baby Lips 'Pink Punch'

Baby Lips are nothing more than tinted lip balms with sweety fruity scents but because I can't just walk in to Boots and buy one, the need to own one really kicked in! Does anyone else have this problem? I know Baby Lips are soon to hit UK shores but I couldn't wait any longer so off to ebay I went.

I decided to go for the shade 'Pink Punch' as after looking at swatches it seemed to be the most pigmented out of the bunch. My lips are very pigmented, usually tinted balms just look clear on my lips but I'm really pleased that 'Pink Punch' pretty much looks the same colour on my lips as it does in the bullet. You can apply it lightly for a really sheer wash of colour but I prefer to build it up untill it's almost opaque. It smells glorious! I love sweet, fruity scents and 'Pink Punch' doesn't disappoint. In terms of moisturising it isn't the best balm I've ever tried but it does feel nice and comfortable on the lips plus the tint eliminates the need to apply lippy. I adore the colour, it's like summer in a tube. :)

As much as I love it I'm not sure I would pick up any of the other shades but would really recommend 'Pink Punch' if you're looking for a balm with real colour pay off.

Have you tried Maybelline Baby Lips?

  2. That's good news about the pigmentation, I was expecting them to be really disappointing. I have lots of tinted Korres lip balms to get through at the moment, but to be honest they don't seem to be doing anything for my lips. xx

    1. I've read mixed reviews. I'm not really interested in the other shades, pigmentation looks poor. I still haven't bit the Korres bullet.

    1. I was surprised too! Tinted balms are usually a waste of money for me.
