O.P.I Vintage Minnie Mini's

I went on a bit of a nail polish binge last week but I found out the O.P.I mid season sale was on (still is) and couldn't help myself. I was quite restrained though and only bought 2 things: Vintage Minnie Mini's & Nail Envy Matte. I always go for the matte version as it works really well as a base coat and I'm still able to use my Nails Inc Kensington Caviar Top Coat instead of the regular Nail Envy as top coat. I love Minnie Mouse but I don't love the shades O.P.I came out with enough to pay full price so when I saw this mini set reduced to £7.77 from £13.95, into the basket it went. The Nail Envy was also at a really good price. It was unboxed and reduced to £11 from £18.80 plus if you spend over £15, delivery is free! :)

The Vintage Minnie Mini's set contains 3 mini 3.75ml nail lacquers and a mini Rapid Dry Top Coat.

The Colour Of Minnie: I think this might be my favourite from the collection but it isn't a colour I would usually go for. The red is such a gorgeous red infused with silver shimmer but what I love most is that the shimmer isn't OTT, it's barely noticeable. I have this weird thing where I associate red, pearl, shimmer shades with people in their 80s, I have no idea why but I do. There isn't any orange tones like my camera seems to think there is. It's just a lovely, true red. Pigmentation was great with this one. You could probably get away with 1 coat but I applied 2.

If You Moust You Moust: This is the type of pink I'm always drawn to. I love cool toned, pink, creme polishes and have God only knows how many of them in my collection but there's always room for more. 3 coats were needed to fully get rid of any streaks.

I'm All Ears: Another shade I wouldn't usually buy and associate with older women but once it's on the nail I kinda like it. I'm not sure how often I'll reach for it but it's there for when I do. I'm All Ears is on the sheer side so needs 3 coats for the true colour to show through. It's a lot nicer than it look's in the photo above but the photo on my Instagram (link) is exactly how it looks in real life.

Rapid Dry Top Coat: I tried this a few years ago but didn't find it to be anything special. It works no quicker than a normal non quick dry top coat but I'm sure it will come in handy for weekends away.

Do you own this collection?
Did you get anything from the O.P.I sale?
