Review: Benefit The POREfessional

Benefit The POREfessional is probably one of the most raved about primers out there. The price tag of £23.50 for just 22ml always put me off purchasing as I never really bothered with primers and instead just used my day creams as a base and was always happy with the results but the reason I wanted The POREfessional so badly was because of its promise to minimise the appearance of pores. Does it minimise the appearance of pores? Yes it does, even without applying foundation on top.

My 2 samples came as magazine freebies and they're still going strong. I only use The POREfessional on my cheeks as thats where my pores are more visible so a tube would last me ages but if you plan to use it all over you're face everyday it could get a bit pricey. The texture feels really silky on the skin because of the silicone and helps to make your skin look a lot smoother. I love it so much for the simple fact it helps disguise my pores but in all honesty my make up doesnt last any longer than it would without primer.

Whats your thoughts on primers, do you think they realy help our make up last longer? I'm not convinced.

Benefit The POREfessional available from all Benefit counters and online (link)

    1. I tried it all over my face the first few times I used it but because I didnt notice any difference in my make up lasting any longer it was just wasting product really. Its great over pores though isnt it :)

  3. I use a clinique pore perfector on my t-zone. I find it helps mattify (love it for that!) but I don't use it as a primer, I sometimes use it instead of foundation depending on what I'm doing that day :)

  7. I got mine as a magazine freebie and it's just run out! Not too sure I want to spend money on the full product though :/ but I agree with you, it really did minimise my pores and it lasts ages. One of my favourite products at the moment :)
