Thankyou Santa : Bare Minerals Grand Collection.

This collection of Bare Minerals / Bare Escentuals (whatever you prefer to call it) products represents the ideal mix of makeup and skin care : problem solving cosmetics that perfect and pamper the complexion.

The collection includes nine products all housed inside a hat box styled on the packaging of their famous foundation.

The Grand Collection Includes:
Original SPF15 Foundation (medium Beige)
Blush (Tickled)
Prime Time Primer Shadow (Cameo Pink)
Matte Eye Colour (Emotion)
Round The Clock Waterproof Eyeliner (Midnight)
Flawless Definition Curl&Lenghten Mascara (Black)
Hydrating Lip Tint (Juicy)
Long Handled Face Brush
Long Handled Tapered Shadow Brush

Once I've used them a bit more I plan to do some reviews but I've done a few rubbish swatches for now.

L-R: Prime Time Primer, Lip Tint, Eye Colour, Blush, Eyeliner.

Also any tips for applying the foundation would be great, I've only used it once so far but wasnt in love with the finish.

  1. I use bare minerals medium beige..
    I LOVE IT!
It doesn't clog up your pores like heavier makeups do and it looks so natural, I wear it to work every day!

    1. The reason I got it is because I'd heard it was really natural. It'l just take me a while to get used to it (i hope) lol I'm not gona give up.

  2. This is such a good little set! I haven't tried the Bare Minerals eyeshadow or blush etc but still absolutely love the foundation. It does take some getting used to and I find the more you buff it into the skin, the more the coverage builds up. I also use quite a lot more of the product than you're supposed to (I think) because I quite like a more flawless finish. If you're finding the product is sitting on your skin a bit I seriously recommend their Prime Time primer - it's pretty expensive but so worth it, a match made in heaven! x

    1. I got it from QVC for £40 including p&p, bargain! They had it as their TSV just before xmas, its still available but the price has went upto £43.80, still a bargain though.
The brush that came with it only provides light-medium coverage so think thats maybe the problem, I feel as if theres no coverage at all but the foundation is noticeable. What brush are you using? I'll def look into the primer.

  6. I love Bare Minerals foundation but I do find you need a little more than they suggest. I do the whole swirl tap buff process twice.

This set does look lovely though! Are they all full sizes? Now I'm hooked on Bare Minerals I want nice big pots of the stuff hehe

  7. What a great kit! I love Bare Minerals I've recently been usng their matte powder mineral foundation and it is brilliant, I find the coverage gets better the longer you wear it! I seem to need to use quite a lot of it though, so I think I'll be disappointed in how long it lasts!! The brushes look good there!xxx

    1. The brushes are really good quality. I was thinking the same about how long the foundation would last.
