Obsessed: Yves Rocher Malaysian Coconut Eau De Toilette

While in Paris I noticed a Yves Rocher store a few steps from my hotel but didn't venture in till the last day and honestly wasn't expecting anything to jump out at me. I was wrong. There was a stand filled with fragrances in different scents with matching body products - Organic Vanilla, Organic Raspberry, Yellow Peach, Blackberry, Wild Strawberry and of course, Malaysian Coconut. They were all gorgeous but I'm loyal to the coconut so that's what I stuck with. I had no idea Yves Rocher sold these types of fragrances and was worried they would only be available in France but nope, we can get them here in the UK too  :) I'm sure there was a honey one in store but I can't find it on the website.

It's a well known fact to everyone who knows me that I adore anything coconut scented. I buy EVERYTHING coconut-y but more often than not the scent comes across very synthetic or just doesn't smell like coconut at all once on my skin. Well, this didn't disappoint. It smells like the real deal! Imagine relaxing on a sun lounger with a coconut in one hand and a bounty in the other, coconut oil in your hair and sun cream all over your skin. It's gorgeous and creamy, definitely a Summer scent but I don't care, this babys gonna' see me through Winter. Can you tell I love it? It's so good that I'm kinda' feeling the need to buy all the other scents too.

This post is for all the coconut lovers who are on a never ending search for the perfect coconut scent. Call off the search, this is it.

Have you tried this or any other fragrances from Yves Rocher?

Paris Beauty Haul

I did plan on buying so much from Sephora but most of the brands stocked there are available in the UK and actually work out a lot more expensive in Euro's so as planned I headed straight to the Sephora own brand products (you all know how much I adore them) but only 5 things jumped out at me, plus a shower scrunchie as I'd forgot to pack mine. My hotel was central to most things I wanted to see and as soon as I got off the train which was very close to the hotel, Sephora was the first shop I saw. I had a bit of a fit and ran like a wild beast while trying to take a photo (you can see that attempt here) I think I came across 4 Sephora's in total with the one on the Champs Elysees (pictured above) being the largest. I did have better luck with the pharmacies though and they're so generous with samples.

Sephora:
Daily Make Up Brush Cleaner
Shower Scrunchie
Contour Eye Pencil 12HR Wear '13 Tiramisu'
Ultra Vinyl Lip Pencil '06 Strawberry Delish'
Rouge Shine Lipstick '04'
Jumbo Liner 12HR Wear '05 Beige'

Pharmacies:
La Roche-Posay Serozinc x2
Klorane Leave-In Spray With Citrus Pulp
Nuxe Creme Fraiche Masque
Avene Gentle Purifying Scrub
Yves Rocher Radiant Complexion Treatment
Klorane Leave-In Cream With Mango Butter
Yves Rocher Malaysian Coconut Eau De Toilette
Klorane Smoothing & Relaxing Eye Contour Patches
Yves Rocher Honey & Organic Muesli Creamy Cleansing Lotion
Yves Rocher Gentle Make Up Remover
Klorane Shampoo with Desert Date
Klorane Floral Lotion Eye Make Up Remover
Nuxe Melting Cleansing Gel with Rose Petals

I've only used a couple of the products but so far so good. I'll be reviewing most things once I've had a chance to really put them to the test and I did get a few things for one of you lovely lot so make sure to check back for a giveaway in the next week.

Have you tried any of these products?
What have you been buying lately?

4 Nights Away: Skin Care.

My last 4 Nights Away post was all about make up. Click here to see which products made the cut. For skin care I'm bringing some of my favourites and some which are new to me. The mini sizes are great for taking away for short breaks and leave enough space to squeeze in that extra pair of shoes you more than likely won't wear. ;)

Liz Earle Prince's Trust Cleanse & Polish*
Omorovicza Gold Rescue Cream* (I'll be using this as night cream)
Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm*
REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask
Sarah Chapman Age-Repair Serum*
Sarah Chapman Anti-Ageing Day Cream*
Yves Rocher 3 Detoxifying Teas Micellar Water

All I need to add in is cotton pad's, flannels/muslin cloths. If it wasn't for the Cleanse & Polish and Yves Rocher Micellar everything else would fit into a teeny tiny bag and take up no space at all.

Do you save samples for mini breaks?
