NOTD: Nail Girls 'Nude Pink'

How gorgeous is this colour? At first I thought Nude Pink* was just an ordinary baby pink which I have more than just a few of in my collection but once on the nails it has an almost dirty look to it. Not dirty in a 'I've just been diggin' for spuds' kinda way but almost like those grey tinged lilac shades. It stops the pink looking too Barbie but still looks pretty.

The formula is thick, no sheer coverage here. Two coats is all it takes to get an opaque finish but I have a feeling it's gonna do a Seche Vite on me after a few more uses. By the time I got to doing the 2nd coat I noticed gloopy strings starting to appear each time I removed excess polish from the brush to the bottle neck. I haven't had this problem with the other shade I own and it's around two years old now so the formula definitely varies from one shade to the next.

Products used:

  2. I know what you mean about the shade - it's quite muted! Not sure I'd call it nude though xx

  3. I know what you mean about the variation in quality across the shades - I have two older Nail Girls polishes in my stash, one's a bright red and the other is a pastel blue - the blue applies much better than the red which has since gone crazy gloopy :( x

    1. It's so annoying, Nails Inc polishes tend to do the same in certain shades.
