Laura Geller The Real Deal Concealer

Laura Geller The Real Deal Concealer in Light

Concealers seem to be the product we're always buying in the hope of finding the Holy Grail. I need concealer more for covering dark circles than anything else but finding the perfect concealer is near impossible. I got my paws on The Real Deal last year after reading all the rave reviews on the QVC website and I'm not sure why I havent reviewed it yet.

Texture wise The Real Deal reminds me of Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer but a lot creamier and easier to work with. A little product goes a long way as the formula is seriously opaque, it can even be used to cover small tattoos, scars and birthmarks aswell as redness and blemishes. The amount on the back of my hand in the photo is enough for atleast 10 faces. Staying power is good too, it tends to last all day on me without feeling like a mask. The tube doesnt look the biggest but I've been using mine for almost a year now and it still looks full! The only bad thing is I cant use it around my eyes which is the reason I bought it in the first place. It covers dark circles like nothing else but it settles into fine lines and creases like crazy even when I set it with powder. It seems to make the eye area look really dry and I look as if I've aged 20 years.

If you're looking for a concealer to cover obvious marks then I really recommend The Real Deal. You'll be hard pushed to ever find any concealer as opaque but its a no-no for the eye area which is a shame as it really covers dark circles.

  1. I've heard so much about this concealer so it was interesting to read your review. I always had the impression that it was good for under the eyes but that certainly doesn't seem to be the case! I do like how you only need to use a tiny amount to cover blemishes etc though x

    1. I'd heard it was it for under the eyes too but it just doesnt work well with my eye area. I wouldnt even say my eye area was dry in the slightest but thats how it makes it look.

Its like the never ending concealer :)
      xo
