March 2014: Love Me Beauty Box

Another month, another great box from Love Me Beauty

This month I went for Menu 1* as it contained one product I really wanted to try but as always, there was a choice of 3 boxes with one or two of the products varying slightly. So what did I get this month?

Nip+Fab CC Eye Fix in 'Light', RRP: 6 (full size): This is the one product that swayed me towards menu 1. I'm a complete tart when it come's to eye cream, doubt I'll ever be loyal to just one as I'm never fully satisfied with what they deliver. That paired with the fact I'm coming to the end of my current eye cream made menu 1 the obvious choice for me. CC Eye Fix claims to be a refreshing eye cream and concealer in one. It contains light diffusing pigments to help brighten the eye area which it does well but I'll report back in a month once I've had a chance to really put it to the test.

The Vintage Cosmetic Company False Lashes in 'Gracie', RRP: 6 (full size): I can't remember the last time I wore false lashes and don't have any stashed away so I'm more than happy to see these featured in this months box. I'm even more happy that they aren't over the top.

Deep Steep Moisture Stick in 'Lavender Chamomile', RRP: 3.60 (full size): Deep Steep is a brand I keep seeing featured on natural blogs. I've wanted to try something from the brand for a while now but didn't know where to start. This moisture stick melts on contact with the heat from your skin. It's like butter yet absorbs immediately leaving behind nothing but super soft skin. It can be used almost anywhere - lips, hands, cuticles, heels or elbows and best of all (for me) the lavender scent is barely there. :) EDIT: It's that good it has now been pinched by my mum!

Murad Sheer Lustre Day Moisturiser with SPF15, 7.5ml sample, RRP: 64 for 50ml: I usually put samples like this in my travel stash for weekends away but the claim of restoring your healthy looking glow makes me want to use it straight away which I more than likely will so expect to see it in an empties post soon.

BlanX White Shock Toothpaste, 15ml sample, RRP: 7.50 for 50ml: White Shock contains Actilux, a peroxide free formula that whitens teeth throughout the day by reacting to light. Almost 8 quid is a ridiculous price for toothpaste but I'm always on the lookout for good whitening products and dread to think what I've spent on them over the years. At least with this sample I'll know if it works for me and whether or not I think it's better than the toothpaste I'm currently using.

Quintessentially English Bath Salts in 'English Rose', 50g sample, RRP: 4.25 for 100g: Made with dead sea salt and pure essential oils, these bath salts claim to be soothing and can be used to exfoliate. This is the one product I'm least excited about. I know lots of people love bath salts but they aren't something I use so this wee bag full will be passed on to someone else.

Six products included this month, three of which are full size and all apart from the bath salts, I'll be using ASAP.

    1. I very rarely have a bath these days unless it's to try a product I really like the look of. Still have the salts though so might give them a try at some point.

  2. This looks like a bit of a mixed box. I would love to see a review of the eye cream once you have used it a little. Xx

    1. What do you think of it? For me it works great inbetween a regular eye cream and concealer, makes a huge difference to how awake I look.
