4 Nights Away: Skin Care.

My last 4 Nights Away post was all about make up. Click here to see which products made the cut. For skin care I'm bringing some of my favourites and some which are new to me. The mini sizes are great for taking away for short breaks and leave enough space to squeeze in that extra pair of shoes you more than likely won't wear. ;)

Liz Earle Prince's Trust Cleanse & Polish*
Omorovicza Gold Rescue Cream* (I'll be using this as night cream)
Omorovicza Perfecting Lip Balm*
REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask
Sarah Chapman Age-Repair Serum*
Sarah Chapman Anti-Ageing Day Cream*
Yves Rocher 3 Detoxifying Teas Micellar Water

All I need to add in is cotton pad's, flannels/muslin cloths. If it wasn't for the Cleanse & Polish and Yves Rocher Micellar everything else would fit into a teeny tiny bag and take up no space at all.

Do you save samples for mini breaks?

  1. I have so many samples and i find that it is great for travelling because not only does it take less space than your standard products, but it gives you a chance to try them out properly :) I do want to try the Yves Rocher Micellar water~ I love the packaging of it and it looks really refreshing to use :) Have you used Bioderma? If so, how does it compare? xxxx

    1. To be honest I think Bioderma is way overhyped. I don't find it works better than any other micellar I've tried. I haven't used the Yves Rocher micellar yet but I really like the one from La Roche Posay. :)

    3. I'm not sure. I haven't tried any other products from Bioderma. Is it pigmentation from spots? I found Decleor Prolagene Energising Gel helped fade some marks I had from spots but I haven't really tried any pigmentation treatments.

  2. I try to save samples for travel. Try being the operative word. I could have swore LE C&P comes in a travel size. How do you like Omorovicza, I haven't tried it?

    1. C&P does come in travel size but I've got so many half used cleansers hanging around. I want to get them used up before buying more.

I tried out the Deep Cleansing Mask lastnight and felt a huge difference from the first use. The Gold Rescue Cream is too heavy for me during the day but I used it after the mask last night and my skin looks and feels really good today. Pity they're so expensive!

    1. Have you tried it yet? You can order a small 30ml size (I think) It's great at removing eye make-up.
