The Dior Addict Lip Glow Colour Awakening Lip Balm Dupe: Sephora Colour Reveal Lip Balm

Sephora Color Reveal Lip Balm

The second thing I asked for in my swap with Lina was this Sephora Color Reveal Lip Balm. I've featured the Dior version on my blog a couple of times (here and here). At first I didn't think it was anything special and to be honest it's not but the more time went on, the more attached I got to it. I've tried some other lip products with the same concept but the balm was solid like plastic and transferred almost no colour to the lips but this one from Sephora is spot on.

For anyone who doesn't know, these types of balms react to your unique PH. On me they tend to go a bright pink but on others the change in colour is barely noticeable. They're such an easy product for throwing on without having to think about it too much. It's basically a balm which devlops a slight tint after a few minutes. What I love about Dior Lip Glow is how balmy and comfortable it feels but Sephoras offering feels just as good and the scent is almost identical (vanilla). I can't feel or see any difference at all bewteen the two once they're applied. Sephora has definitely studied the Dior Lip Glow and it's paid off. The only two differences are the price and packaging. If you were thinking about splashing the cash on the one from Dior, spend half the amount on this one from Sephora instead.

Have you tried either of these?

    1. It is. :) I need to plan a trip to Sephora lol their own brand products seem really, really good. It's not an amazing must-have but I just like these balms for everyday use.

  2. I like the Jane Iredale lip balm that does the same thing as this, though the Sephora one sounds like a much more purse friendly alternative! x

    1. It's as if someone has put the Dior Balm in Sephora packaging. Even the texture feels the same. I still need to try the Jane Iredale version.
