The Bath #1

I'm thinking of starting a series called The Bath as in the colder months I could easily live in a bath. It's so warm and relaxing! Once a week I pick a day and spend atleast an hour (or maybe 2) in there turning the whole bathroom into my own mini spa with different products, candles, magazines and whatnot. I normally don't like to use face masks as I feel the steam interferes with how well they work but I do on some occasions.

For The Bath #1 I picked out a few of my favourite products. I lit my Blueberry Scone Yankee Candle half an hour before I ran my bath so the scent had enough time to fill the room. Blueberry Scone is probably my most repurchased scent from Yankee. It's more blueberry than scone and just smells so fruity and fresh. I filled the bath and poured in a few drops of Aromatherapy Associates Support Breathe Bath Oil*, even just a few drops releases a powerful scent. They're so potent! I find 'Support Breathe' great for clearing a headache. I don't know how or why it works but it just does. The scent lasts and lasts and lasts, it mixes with the steam and can be smelt around the house for hours after.  Leonor Greyl Regenerescence Naturelle* is great for anyone with a dry, itchy or sensitive scalp. I roughly part my hair several times and apply a few drops to my scalp before spending a few minutes massaging it in. I then clip my hair up and usually leave it on overnight. I'm having a bit of a love affair with the REN Rose Otto Body Wash at the minute, I can't get enough. It leaves my skin feeling moisturised and lightly scented. I also adore the clean, fuss free packagaing. I love cream cleansers and this Green & Spring Light Cleanser* is no exception. The cream is a lot lighter and more fluid than the likes of Cleanse & Polish which makes the removal process even quicker. Then I get to chill out with a magazine :) this week it was Marie Claire.

Do you turn your bath into a spa?

  3. This sounds like a PERFECT bath! Since moving house our plug doesn't keep water in for long which is pretty wasteful so I don't get to bath how I would like to :-( xx
