Shopping My Stash #20

After rediscovering  Nails Inc Peach Sorbet and falling in love with it all over again when paired with 'Holly place' in yesterdays NOTD  post (link) I went on a mission to find the other 2 shades I bought at the same time, Bluebell and Power Pink. All came as InStyle freebies almost 2 years ago. The sun has been out in Norn Iron which is a rarity so I've ditched the darks in favour of these ice cream coloured beauties.

Rimmel Apocalips 'Stellar': A gorgeous, bright, pigmented lip colour that stays put for a decent amount of time. Even when paired with only mascara and no liner/shadow it helps me look more put together and brightens my face. 

bareMinerals Foundation 'Medium Beige': Still not completely sold on this foundation as it can highlight fine lines and coverage wise it isn't the best but I do like it a lot more now than I did at first. For me it works much better during warmer months as my skin is going from just an oily t-zone to oily all over.

Tan Tastic Self Tanning Liquid: Came to the end of my He-Shi Express Liquid Tan which I love and have been using for years but rather than be a bore and repurchase I decided to try something different. I think liquid tanners are my favourite type, compared to creams/lotions they dry down better on my skin and are much easier to use. Haven't tried this at all yet and haven't read any reviews but in the bottle it seems very similar to the He-Shi's offering so fingers crossed. 

Fake Bake Perfection Golden Faux Glow Instant Tan: This I have tried but only once and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Need to give it a good road test before making up my mind hence why it's in this post but as always, I'll report back.

Shopping My Stash #19

The post Christmas make up shake up!

Becca Rejuvenating Primer: I very rarely use primers but still feel the need to buy a new one every now and then. Haven't tried this one from Becca yet but my hopes are high and a review will follow. Let me know if you've tried it.

MAC Paint Pot 'Rubenesque': Back in June I bought two Paint Pots from MAC - Rubenesque and Painterly (link) Painterly is something I use almost daily but Rubenesque always seems to slip through the net. Even though it's a gorgeous colour and so easy to wear, it doesn't get much love from me.

Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara: The original Grow Luscious mascara is my current fave (if your lashes struggle to hold a curl, try it!) but in a recent 3 for 2 Boots offer I picked up this plumping version to try. I'm so hooked on the original though and haven't gave this one enough of a chance. I'll report back soon and let you know how they compare.

Maybelline The Eraser Perfect & Cover Concealer: Concealer, something I can NEVER skip. Garnier's Tinted Roll On is my go-to under eye concealer. It's just so easy to apply and even though the coverage may not be the best, it barely creases and lasts all day on me. I need to mix things up a bit though and get my concealers on rotation so Maybelline's offering is first on my hit list. You can see my review here.

Amie Skincare Bright Eyes Make Up Remover*: I've just finished off another bottle of micellar water so Amie Bright Eye's is next in line. I think I tried it out once or twice but from what I remember it wasn't as effective at removing mascara as others. Maybe not the best for anyone who wears waterproof mascara.

Shopping My Stash #18

The Body Shop White Musk Libertine Body Mist: I very rarely buy anything from The Body Shop now but when I was a kid I looooved all the White Musk scented products and does anyone remember when you could mix up your own perfume oil? I've maybe made that up but I have memories of standing around a round table with glass bottles full of different scented oils. Anyway, during one of their sales last year (or maybe the year before) I ordered myself this body mist along with the matching perfume. I don't love it as much as I did back then but I still have a soft spot for it. As you can see, I've barely used any of this bottle but to me it's more of a Wintry scent, great for this time of year so I'm sure I'll make a quare dent in it.

Organic Surge 2-Minute Moisture Mask*: By the time this post goes live I'll probably have already tried this hair mask. It came in the Organic Surge Beauty Blogger Bundle, you can see that post here. At the time of writing that post I wasn't sure when the bundle would be on the Organic Surge website but the post has now been updated. You won't find the bundle on the website unless you click the link in that post as the offer is exclusive to beauty blog readers.

Estee Lauder Double Wear: My full coverage friend, I've neglected you for what seems like forever. I do love Double Wear but for some reason the shade I own 'Fresco' has started to look quite pink on me but the colder weather makes any redness in my skin more noticeable so I'm now reaching the most hardcore base I own. I'll just bash the bronzer to warm my ghost face up a bit.

Dainty Doll Cream Blush '002 Orange County Girl': This blush is gorgeous, you can see my swatches here. It adds colour, acts as a highlighter and just makes my face look alive and healthy. I don't own NARS Orgasm but a lot of people who do claim this is the cream equivalent.

Balance Me Radiance Face Oil: I'm stepping up my night time skincare game and introducing an oil back in. I've heard so many great things about Radiance Face Oil, apparently it even keeps spots at bay as well as keeping the skin hydrated and all that other magical stuff.

Shopping My Stash #17

I love shopping my stash, I always find things I didn't even know I had or couldn't remember buying. I have a habit of sticking with what I know and put the bulk of my make up away to keep the place tidy but out of sight, out of mind definitely applies to me. If it isn't laid out right in front of my face I just reach for whats closest to hand but these posts help me rotate my make up more often and stop things going to waste.

Sephora 12HR Wear Jumbo Waterproof Liner '04 Taupe': Lina sent me this beauty a while back and I'm so glad she did, it has to be one of the most easy to apply eye products ever. The texture is so creamy that theres no dragging at the lids at all. Staying power is fantastic, it blends out easily and can be used alone or as a base for other shadows but I usually wear it on it's own, it's way to pretty to cover up. I adore the shade (swatches) but like everything else, it got neglected when new products came along.

Melvita Orange Blossom Floral Water*: You know me, I'm a toner/tonic/facial spritz addict so am happy to give this one from Melvita a try. The bottle only holds 28ml of product which won't last long but I'll report back in next months empties post.

Bourjois Blush '33 Lilas D'or': I'm getting stuck in a blush rut. My go-to blushers are Nars 'Douceur' and Tarte 'Exposed' (comparison post) but my skin gets a lot duller in the colder months and I can always rely on Lilas D'or to add a bit of a glow to my chops. It doubles up as blush and highlighter which is great for lazy daisy's like me. (review & swatches)

Anatomicals No Old Bags Allowed*: I've always had a problem with bags but it's just getting beyond a joke now. The baggage is so baggy that I could quite easily fit everything I'm taking to Paris in them and still still have room to squeeze in a few airport purchases. I don't really have high hopes for this product but I've read a couple of positive reviews so fingers crossed.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain '03 Strawberry Kissed': This stuff is hardcore! Take a look at my swatches here. The pigmentation is like nothing else I've ever tried and as it has a matte finish, staying power is unbelievable. I have Lina to thank for getting me hooked on these lip stains. I now own 2 but will be stocking up at the end of the month when I finally come face to face with Sephora.

Daniel Sandler Invisible Radiance Foundation & Concealer 'Beige'*: I think I've tried 3 products from DS now. A Lipshine Lipstick, the much raved about and totally worth the hype Watercolour Blush, and now this, the newest addition to my face base arsenal. I haven't tried it out properly yet, it only arrived earlier today but on the back of my hand the texture of both the concealer and foundation feel light as air yet hydrating.

So that's yer lot!

Shopping My Stash #16

I've just realised I havent done a Shopping My Stash post since June! Really don't know why as I love both reading and writing them, and I've noticed I'm getting stuck in a bit of a rut reaching for the same products day in, day out. So Here's what I'll be making more of an effort to use over the next week or so -

NEW CID I-Perfection Colour Adjust Foundation*: The finish of this foundation is satin which is apparently what skin is all about this Autumn/Winter. It's a happy medium, I find a lot of skin types work well with satin finishes rather than oily skins having to avoid really dewy finish foundations, same with dry skins not working well with matte offerings. I-Perfection Colour Adjust is a really low maintenance foundation, it lasts well on my skin and sets quickly. My review.

Nina Ricci, Ricci Ricci: I'm on a mission to downsize my perfume collection. I have way too many that I don't even like and bought mainly because I liked the look of the bottle, this is one of them. I have bottles of the stuff dotted around the house but rather than them collecting dust and going off, I'm going to start getting some use from them. A lot of people love Ricci Ricci but sadly it falls under the migraine category for me most of the time. Notes include Rhubarb, Bergamot, Moonflower, Indian Tuberose, Centilfolia Rose, Patchouli and Sandalwood.

Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray: Probably one of the most talked about hair products ever. I remember reading about Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray in a magazine maybe 10/11 years ago and thinking to myself 'what idiot would want to coat their hair in salt' well, fast forward a few years and that idiot is writing this blog post. I do like Surf Spray but it's a long way off from making it into my Holy Grail List.. I wish it had more hold but need to play around with it a bit more before giving my review.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub: This stuff smells incredible! I really wasn't expecting to like the sugar lime scent but it really works. I bought this at same time as The Breakfast Scrub which I prefer so naturally I've been neglecting Sugar Crush. The scrubby bits are less dense but it still leave my skin feeling smooth.

KIKO Long Lasting Lip Marker*: The shade I own is '103 Peach Red' Swatches and review. I know we're now in Autumn and lip colours generally get more vampy but every now and then you just need something a bit brighter and lighter.

Shopping My Stash #15

The sun is finally here! In N.Ireland anyway which is rare. I feel like all year we wish for mr sun to come out but as soon as it's here I do nothing but complain. I love when the weathers good, everyone seems in a better mood but the heat really drains me. I'm hanging over my keyboard at the min like a sweaty big beast with blurry, dotty eye's from being out in the sun taking some blog photos. Anyway, enough about that and more about whats really important - makeup.

Clarins Bronzing Duo: I own the shade '02 Medium' I maybe should've got the lightest shade but with there being 2 shades in the pan I'm able to adjust the colour to suit my skin all year round. I've got some tan on at the mo so I don't have to be too careful when applying this. It's a lovely natural bronzer and looks great paired with just some concealer if I'm too warm to wear foundation. Liz Earle Signature Foundation*: If I'm wearing tan or going on a night out this is usually the foundation I go for. It's too dark for my natural skin tone to wear everyday but the coverage is fantastic as is the staying power. It sets immediately and doesn't need touched up with powder a million times throughout the day. See my review and swatches here.

Escada Moon Sparkle: I adore Escada fragrances. They're so, so sweet but I find them to be fresh at the same time. That might sound weird but what I mean is you can really smell them, they're strong and sweet but not cloying or migraine inducing. Every year they come out with another beauty but Moon Sparkle is from a good few years back so I'm guessing it's no longer available. If you've tried Escada fragrances before you'll have a good idea of how this smells as they're always similar but the notes include: Strawberry, blackcurrant, sweetpea, rose & freesia.

Sephora Primal Instincts Palette: Another neutral palette but a flippin' good'un! Sephora's own brand make up impresses me everytime, it's brilliant. You can take a closer look at the shades here.

Max Factor 'Bewitching Coral': If you're looking for a bright, purse friendly, long lasting, matte lip colour that really stains the lips then look no further. It isn't the most moisturising lippy, it can be a bit drying but I absolutely love it! It's by far one of my favourite summer lippies but I do wear it all year round.

100% Pure Pink Champagne Luminescent Powder*: A gorgeous, glitter free highlighter. I love MAC Soft & Gentle but when it's really sunny outside I feel that it maybe looks a bit too much. This is subtle but still packs a punch plus it's 100% pure so you don't need to worry about loading your skin with nasty ingredients. See my review and swatches here.

This Works: Fresh Skin Toner: I bought this in the sales after Christmas but have only just started using it really. It isn't astringent in the slightest. I would describe it as a moisturisng toner but not as moisturisng as the likes of Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic. It's alcohol free and helps to balance the skin. I use it after cleansing and throughout today when the weather is sweltering like right now.

Shopping My Stash #14

Last week this post was only ment to be a day late but for some reason that day turned into a week! Does this happen to anyone else? Better late than never though so here's what I'll be using over the next fortnight.

Chanel Pro Lumiere: The shade I own is '20 Clair-Cameo' when swatched it looks far too dark but once blended it's quite a good match. It isn't full coverage but does a good job of covering any redness which I have a lot of on my cheekbone area.

Dainty Doll Cream Blusher '003 Billion Dollar Babies': I'm fair but BDB is such a natural shade, I'm not sure it's going to show up against my skin tone. Might be a good choice for girls with very pale skin, I imagine it could be used as blush, bronzer, contour.

bareMinerals Prime Time 'Cameo Pink': I haven't been using eye primers at all lately but if you're lazy like me, this one from bareMinerals can be worn alone for a sheer wash of colour. I swatched it last year (link) if you want to have a look.

Rimmel Apocalips 'Celestial': Before I bought this there had been so many rave reviews. I really wanted 'Big Bang' but it was sold out and 'Celestial' looked like a nice everyday colour. I do like them, they feel nice on the lips, pigmentation is fantastic, they don't dry my lips out at all and they last a decent amount of time but I don't think the formula is groundbreaking or anything that hasn't been done before.

Dainty Doll Mascara/Eyeliner Duo: The liquid liner is rubbish. Pigmentation is poor and wipes straight off so for that reason I won't be using it and to be honest, the mascara is dire too but for a natural lash look it does the job.

Shopping My Stash #13

Another fortnight is over which means it's time for me to shop my stash yet again. :) The last 2 Shopping My Stash posts included only samples and I managed to get through quite a lot but now it's back to 'normal' products.

MAC Eyeshadow 'All That Glitters': I'm probably the only person who isn't under the spell of MAC. Some of the products are brilliant but the eyeshadows I've tried haven't impressed me. 'All That Glitters' is the only MAC shadow I still own and I love the shade but it's been neglected for a few months.

Sally Hansen Insta-Grip Base Coat: I reviewed this last week (link) and really, really like it! I'll be using it for the next couple of weeks to save using up my Nails Inc Kensington Caviar Base Coat.

YSL Rouge Volupte 'Peach Passion': This has got to be the creamiest lippy I own. It feels lovely and comfortable on the lips but because of the texture it needs to be reapplied quite often. I don't mind that though, just means I get to see the gorgeous packaging more. :) I've already done a post on this gorgeous lippy (link)

Liz Earle Signature Foundation 'Nude'*: Beautiful foundation! 'Nude' is a bit dark for me which is why I don't wear it more often but I'm planning to slap some tan on so this beauty will be what I reach for. The finish is just right, lasts well on the skin and should suit most skin types. You can read my full review here.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer '51 Light Radiance': I'm not sure how I feel about this concealer anymore. At first I thought it was one of the best drugstore concealers out there but now I find the finish looks almost powdery especially when used under the eyes and on me it creases quite badly but most concealers do. Maybe I'll fall in love with it again if I give it another chance.

Bourjois Blush '33 Lilas D'Or': This is such a pretty blush, really pigmented and lasts all day on my cheeks but the smell.. Oh the smell! Why anyone would think it's a good idea for a blush to smell so strongly of flowers is beyond me. You can see my swatches here

Shopping My *Sample* Stash #12

I'm still on a mission to reduce my sample stash:

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer: I very rarely use primer, I just see it as an extra step and a bit of a faff really but I've read so many great reviews on this primer so hopefully it'll work well for me too. It's a silicone based primer but paraben free. Hurrah!

Talika Skin Retouch: I've never tried anything from Talika but Skin Retouch is a fluid for face, hands and neck. As far as I can tell it's a moisturiser but I'll have a look on google to find out exactly what it's for.

Estee Lauder Double Wear: I already own Double Wear but after placing an order online last year I received this sample in the shade 'Cashew' I think it's from the new colour range? Look's far too dark for me but I might try mixing it with a bit of moisturiser.

Mirenesse Velvet Lip Lift Moisture Shine: There's no shade name on the tube but the gloss is clear with teeny flecks of pink glitter running through. I've tried this out a few times before but wasn't impressed. I'm not sure where the 'Velvet Lip Lift Moisture Shine' bit comes from, it's just a plain basic gloss.

Nicky Clarke Instant Calmer: I haven't tried anything from Nicky Clarke in years! Instant Calmer claims to soften, add shine and control hair for a sleek luxe finish. Sounds good to me, lets hope it does what it says.

Jo Hansford Intensive Masque: Hair masks are my best friend but I recently came to the end of my mask stash. Sad times. My hair is a complete nightmare and needs all the help it can get so I'm looking forward to giving this a try. It's a 40ml tube so I doubt I'll get more than 2 uses from it.

Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Firm & Skin Smoothing Cream: Multivitamin Power Firm is a treatment to combat visible lines around the mouth and eyes. I plan to use this at night along with the Skin Smoothing Cream. I have a feeling they would be too heavy for me to use during the day plus it contains silicone and most facial skin care products containing silicone tend to roll off on me when I try the layer another product such as foundation on top.

I found a few products I ended up loving from my last Shopping My Stash post. The Rimmel BB Cream is surprisingly good and really affordable, I bought the full size last week. :)

Shopping My *Sample* Stash #11

For this fortnights Shopping My Stash post I thought I would do something a bit different and only include samples. My Samples stash has passed the overflowing point so to help me make some space (for more samples no doubt) I thought this would be a good move.

 

Sephora Super Loaded Age Defy Serum & Age Defy Moisture Cream SPF 15: I have 2 samples of each of these and yes they're from Sephora which can only mean one thing, Lina! :D I adore Sephora makeup so hopefully the skin care is good too.

Phyto Express Conditioner for weakened damaged hair: I think Lina sent this sample too? She looks after me doesn't she. lol I've tried this conditioner before when it came in one of the FeelUnique beauty boxes but can't remember if I liked it or not. Looking forward to giving it another go.

 

John Masters Vitamin C Anti-Aging Face Serum: All the hair care products I've tried from John Masters have been fantastic but this will be the first skin care product I've tried. I'm kind of hoping I don't fall in love, the prices make my eye's water!

 

REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask: I completely forgot I had this sample! The reviews I've read have been good and anything that promises to make my pores look smaller excites me. 

 

Burberry Lip Cover 'Rosewood': How cute is this lipstick, it's only the same length as my baby finger yet perfectly formed. The shade looks quite dark but my lips are really pigmented so on me it looks natural. This came in the Harrods Glossybox last year but hasn't had much love from me.

 

Benefit They're Real!: Everyone and their dog seem to love this mascara. It's recieved Holy Grail status from so many bloggers but for me it was a bit of a miss. I've only used it a few times though, maybe once it's dried out a bit I'll like it more.

 

Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel: I love cleansers. They're without a doubt the one skin care product I get most excited about. I love the whole cleansing process and once you've found 'The One' you've almost won the bad skin battle. I found mine last year in the form of Sarah Chapman Ultimate Cleanse. I'm now the proud owner of a full sized tube and use it religiously but y'know what we're like, we still like to try new things.

 

Rimmel BB Cream: I've kinda backed away from BB creams after being unable to find one I really love. Admittedly I haven't tried many but the few I have just didn't impress me. I've heard great things lately about the Rimmel version but didn't even know I had a sample untill my sample box got tipped upside down.

 

So that's yer lot for this fortnight, let's hope I get on well with atleast one of them.

Shopping My Stash #10

I'm still on my mission to use up all the perfumes I'm not so fond off. I got halfway through Britney Radiance last fortnight and this fortnights fragrance of choice is...

Beyonce Heat: I really, really like Beyonce Pulse but sadly the same can't be said for Heat. I think I've maybe used this only once or twice but maybe it'll grow on me. It was a blind buy last year, the fact that it was on sale was enough for me to drop it into my basket.

Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream: I've came to the end of my beloved Sarah Chapman Eye Recovery and will definitely order the full sized tube but first I need to cut my skincare collection in half, plus I'm on a spending ban. Booo!

Caudalie Beauty Elixir: This is my 2nd bottle of what was probably the most hyped product of 2012. I have another big bottle in my back-up cupboard but unlike the majority, I don't find it make's much difference to my skin. I really like the fresh, tingly feeling it leaves behind though which is why I loved it during summer.

Benefit Posie Tint: The main reason I bought Posie Tint was to use on my lips but my lips are so pigmented that one coat does nada but 2 or 3 coats just feels gross! I don't know why but I just can't seem to get on with liquid blush. Applying it always seems to remove it at the same time along with my foundation. If you're a liquid blush lover let me know in the comments how you apply it.

 Diego Dalla Palma Special Tanning Cake*: I'm one of those annoying people who very rarely use a foundation in their pefect shade. I usually go a shade or 2 darker so to avoid having a face and neck in 2 different colours I bronze my neck up slightly.

EOS Sweet Mint Lipbalm:  I don't think I've ever finished a lip balm! I usually get bored and move on to the next one like some kind of lip balm floozie but my collection is beyond ridiculous now. I love the shape and scents of the EOS balms but don't find they're the best at getting your lips back in to good condition.

Shopping My Stash #9

Shopping My Stash posts are even more exciting for me now. I decided to join in on the spending ban but haven't commited myself to 100 days. I started last thursday, it's been 10 days so far and I still haven't buckled under the pressure of wanting shiny new things. I have however bought a few beauty bits as prezzies but please tell me this doesn't count? :) I haven't gave myself a target, I'm just going to see how long I can last.

So onto what I'll be using over the next fortnight..

Liz Earle Foot Scrub & Foot Repair Moisturiser: Liz Earle have a recommend a friend scheme and after recommending someone during the summer I received a lovely little travel set containing both foot products. I've only used them once or twice before but from what I remember I really liked them and as it's winter and our feet aren't on show we usually forget about them so this is my attempt at keeping them looking as nice as feet can look. Bleugh!

Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Spa Sheet Mask*: I'm no stranger to Montagne Jeunesse masks but this will be the first sheet mask I've tried from the brand.

Ren Neroli & Grapefruit Body Wash: My house is coming down with shower gel. There's atleast one in every cupboard, even in the kitchen. I go through phases were I'm obsessed with a certain type of product and for a few months it was shower gel. Neroli & Grapefruit is a lovely uplifting scent which will hopefully help wake me up in the mornings.

MAC Blot Powder: From what I can remember I really didn't like this but I was using it on top of a MAC foundation which I hated so maybe that's why. I've been using a loose powder to set my t-zone but it isn't practical for using on the go so I'm giving MAC a second chance.

Liz Earle Light Perfecting Concealer*: As I'm sure most of you know by now I am a slave to YSL Touche Eclat and this shiny silver pen is the same type of product. I can't imagine ever liking a similar product more than YSL's offering but for those of you who hate it (I know there's a few of you out there) I have a feeling you'll love this one. I done a full review back in August (link) if you want to know more.

Britney Spears Radiance: On my mission to cut my perfume collection in half I'm working my way through all the ones I don't love. I have a soft spot for Britney and her fragrances, they're my guilty pleasure but from now on I only want fragrances I 100% love and use almost daily.

Shopping My Stash #7: The Christmas Face

So for this weeks shopping my stash post I cheated a wee bit. I've included a few things I always use but since it's almost Christmas I wanted to make sure what I've included is what I want on my face on Christmas day.

Ysl Touche Eclat, Liz Earle Brow Pencil, Garnier Tinted Roll On, DIY Brow Gel and Le Teint Touche Eclat are what I reach for everytime I do my make up.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain in 03 Strawberry Kiss: A bright, in your face, long lasting, matte red. You can see my post and swatches here. Pigmentation is fantastic, staying power is second to none and lets face it, it'll need to last all day while I'm shoveling down everything in sight. It's Christmas, rocking a red lip is the law.

Urban Decay Naked Palette & Primer Potion: My Naked palette has taken a back seat lately but I keep seeing FOTD posts and admiring the eye shadow they're wearing only to find out it's 'Half Baked'. Never would I pair a bright gold eye with red lips but red and gold just scream Christmas to me.

Collection Gel Liner: This isn't the best gel liner in the world but for the price, it's brilliant and perfect for defining the eyes. It does fade as the day goes on but I can deal with that.

Estee Lauder Lash Primer Plus & Zero Smudge Lengthening Mascara: I adores the this mascara brush. It allows me to get right to the corners and as the name states, it's pretty good at lengthening. I don't know if it's just because I have sensitive eye's but I always feel as if bits crumble off after a while and end up in my eyes. Does anyone else has this problem? Lash Primer Plus just helps add that extra bit of length and thickens the look of my lashes.

MAC MSF in 'Soft & Gentle': Perfetc for helping my dull Winter skin look more alive without being over the top.

NARS 'Douceur': I can't fault this blush. It's the perfect shade and is great when you're wearing a strong eye or lip and don't want a bright shade on your cheeks.

Shopping My Stash #6

I'm 2 days late with this one! I usually shop my stash on sunday's and the post goes up on the same day but I've only just been able to snap some pics so Tuesday will have to do.

Vichy Thermal Spa Water: I'm still on a mission to make a dent in my mountain of half used products.I really enjoyed using this in Summer and it did seem to make a difference when my skin was feeling extra irritated but like everything else, it got pushed to the side and I started using something else. In the warmer months this thermal water feels really refreshing on the skin as it's really cooling but I'm sure it'll feel more like torture in this cold weather.

Clarins Liquid Bronze Self Tan For Face & Decollete: I've barely used this since I reviewed it back in June (link) and to be honest I'd completely forgotten about it. I'm pale all year round but like everyone else I'm paler in Winter. My dark circles are more apparent and my skin looks alot less healthy. I find this face tanner great for disguising the look of dark circles and it does give a natural, healthy looking glow. I need to start applying this every other night.

Stila Eye Shadow 'Kitten': Kitten is one of my most recent purchases and something I've wanted for a long time. The texture is buttery soft and the colour is similar to what I always go for so I'm sure I'll love it.

Papier Poudre Blotting Paper*: I don't know why but my forehead has turned into a disco ball. I can't even describe it - it's oily but even when there's no oil it still look's shiny like someone is following me around all day shining a light on my head. These blotting papers from Papier Poudre are coated in oil absorbing powder and should hopefully help my forehead look alot less 'glowy'.

Daniel Sandler Lipshine Lipstick 'Hush'*: Hush is a really easy to wear everyday colour. I reviewed it back in September (link) but since then I've been more into lip stains and Hush has been slipping deeper into the lipstick box of no return. It's non drying and should keep my lips feeling nice and soft in this ice cold weather.

Shopping My Stash #5

I think this post should have been up last Sunday but my computer was in the middle of a meltdown so I carried on using the same products from the last Shopping My Stash post. For this fortnight I've picked out 5 products. Some are new to me, some I love and one I loathe.

Benefit BrowZings in 'dark': BrowZings was my favourite brow product for a long, long time. It contains everything your brows need in one compact: wax, powder, 2 brushes, mirror and mini tweezers but recently the Liz Earle Brow Pencil in 'Fair' knocked it off the top spot. My problem is when I find a product I adore I completely forget about other great products and let them go to waste so this fortnight I'll only be using this bad boy on my brows.

Soleil Tan De Chanel: I don't think anyone understands how angry this product makes me. I just don't get it. I don't get the hype and I don't get how one shade supposedly suits everyone. Sometimes it isn't noticeable at all on my skin and other times I end up looking like a clown. I really want to love Soleil Tan De Chanel so this fortnight I'll be trying my hardest to turn hate into love. I always say this but if any of you have any tips on how to make this work then please let me know in the comments.

Armani Code: One of my all time favourite fragrances. Armani Code is instantly recognisable, comforting and the perfect winter scent. This bottle has lasted me an absolute age due to not needing to top up throughout the day. If you spray it on a scarf then wear it weeks later the scent will still be there.

Lanolips Lip Ointment With Colour & SPF 15 in shade 'Rhubarb'*: If you suffer from dry, cracked lips during the Winter months, get yourself a tube of Lanolips! 'Rhubarb' adds a lovely red/pink blush to your lips and makes them feel comfortable from the first use. I don't think I could ever be without Lanolips now.

Dove Colour Radiance Express Treatment Conditioner: I ended up with 4 of these when buying Marie Claire for the L'Occitane Hand Cream Freebies. I recently added more highlights to the midlengths-ends of my hair so have been opting for treatments with every wash over regular conditioner. I really hope it works well for me as it's alot cheaper than some of the treatments I've fallen for lately.

Shopping My Stash #4

I'm so glad I decided to start doing these posts. Of course there's some items I never switch up such as eyeshadow but I'm really making more of an effort not to neglect what I already own. I've noticed I haven't been buying as much make up either which makes my bank account very happy.

Judith Williams Luxury Diamond Magic Make Up: I posted about this back in April (link) but since getting YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat no other bases have had a look in really. The texture is REALLY similar to Benefit The POREfessional but it adds some coverage and blurs imperfections. The ingredients aren't on the tube but I'm guessing it's made up from alot of silicone. The reason I like it is because it leaves no tidelines even though the shade looks really dark before you blend it. It's a one shade suits all type product and you don't even need a brush to apply it. The less I need to do the better - lazy girl make up.

Benefit Realness Of Concealness Kit: This is the last chance saloon for this mini fake it kit. It contains Boi-ing concealer which Benefit seem to think is 'industrial strength' & Lemon Aid colour correcting eyelid primer both of which are solid and almost impossible to get any from the pans. On the rare occasion I've been able to get some on my finger from the pan they do nothing at all apart from crease and look obvious. Infact, they make me look even worse. The kit also contains Ooh La Lift Under Eye De-Puffer - another pointless product in my opinion. It doesn't lift or de-puff. Lip Plump - a lip primer which doesn't plump in the slightest so why it's called Lip Plump is beyond me & High-Beam - the only product from the kit that doesn't make me want to pull my hair out. I've been hanging onto this kit for way too long  but after this fortnight if I still hate it I'll be introducing it to the bin.

Clarins Instant Light Perfecting Touch: Very similar to YSL Touche Eclat. I do really like this product but never reach for it as often as I should as the brush applicator is very thin and flimsy. I think I'm almost at the end of it now so hopefully it'll be another product for an empties post soon.

Avon Super Curlacious Mascara: Another unopened mascara from my mascara stash. I used to really like some of the mascaras from Avon and I don't think I've ever tried this one so I'm interested to see how well it curls my stupidly straight lashes.

MAC Speak Louder & Benefit No Competition: 'Speak Louder' is one of my all time favourite lipsticks but the reason it's in this post is because I still don't have the balls to wear 'No Competition' on it's own. It's the darkest, most vampy shade I own and I love it but I'm just not brave enough to wear it without mixing it with 'Speak Louder'. In the photo 'No Competition' doen't even look that dark but trust me, it is.

Shopping My Stash #3

For this fortnight I've picked out 6 products, 3 of which are my favourites but for some reason have been neglected alot lately. First up is..

Lavera All-Round Cream: I've really enjoyed the few products I've tried from Lavera, mainly body products like bath/shower gel and body creams. As the name suggests the All-Round Cream can be used on the face and body (I only use it on my body) It has a really pleasant scent, is easy to work into the skin and best of all - it's free from nasty ingredients.

Estee Lauder Double Wear in shade Fresco: The main reason I love Double Wear is because it doesn't transfer onto my clothes. There's nothing worse than seeing the collar of a coat plastered in foundation, it's hideous but DW stays on my face the whole day. Even if I have a nana nap in the afternoon it doesn't budge. I also love that it covers any redness. Around this time every year I get a huge red stripe on each cheek, I think it's due to dehydration with having the heating on alot and DW seems to be the only foundation to completely cover it.

MAC MSF in Soft & Gentle: Soft & Gentle gives the most gorgeous golden, champagne sheen to the cheekbones. I've been using my New CID blush/highlighter duo constantly since I got it but it's time to come back to this beauty! It seems to last forever, I still haven't made a dent.

The Body Shop White Musk Libertine: I don't buy much from The Body Shop now but I practically lived for it when I was younger. I always loved the White Musk scented products so when I spotted this in the sale last year I picked it up. I must confess I've grown out of my White Musk phase but I'll always have a soft spot for it.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer & Gloss Duo: This duo came as a GWP last year but I very rarely wear gloss and despite really liking the concealer at first it started to remind me of Collections Lasting Perfection Concealer which I'm just not a fan of. The gloss is in the shade 27 Pink Kiss Shimmer, it's a golden pink, doesn't feel too sticky and it smells good.

Benefit Bad Gal Mascara: I had a tube of this back in the day but I have to say I wasn't too impressed. So why did I get another tube? Well it was a magazine freebie a few months back, I can't pass up a good freebie.

Shopping My Stash #2

Two weeks ago I done my first 'Shopping My Stash' post. I decided to go for fortnighly rather than weekly posts as it gives me a good amount of time to put each product to use. I really enjoyed shaking up my make up bag a bit and felt a lot less stuck in a make up rut.

This fortnight my weapons of choice are:

Murad Skin Perfecting Dewy Finish Primer: I believe this came in a Glossybox months and months ago. I did use it a few times but wasnt blown away so chucked it into the dephs of the drawer of neglect.

Jemma Kidd I-Glamour Volume Mascara: I havent tried this mascara yet, it was a magazine freebie at some point but I have high hopes as the Jemma Kidd range is almost always raved about.

bareMinerals Foundation in Medium Beige: I would, and probably always will pick liquid foundation over minerals. I know people say you cant tell your wearing foundation when you use this but I always can and it seems to give me wrinkles where I dont have any! I need to give this another go, hopefully I'll love it by the end of the fortnight.

Laura Geller The Real Deal Concealer: The Real Deal is a brilliant full coverage concealer. It covers everything but it does have some bad points. I'll get a review up this week.

Lanolips Lemonaid*: Possibly the best lip product ever. I've neglected it lately but with the weather changing my lips have started to get a bit sore.

MAC Viva Glam Nicki: Not my favourite lipstick ever. Infact I'd say its probably the worst lippy I own but I'm determined to get some use out of it.
