For me, blush is probably the least exciting part of my makeup routine, sometimes I'll just skip it completely. I never stray far from my tried and tested shades of pink but they're so boriiiiiiiiiiiiiing.

For a while now I've wanted to try something a bit different but dont know where to start, I'm stuck in a blush rut. I need your help on deciding which blush to go for but theres a few things I'm looking for..
A cream blush that looks dewy but without leaving a tacky feel on the skin and I think a peachy, almost bronze-y shade is what I'm after. I'm not set on a single brand, I'm open to suggestions and if you've got any swatches of a shade you think I might like then please link it below.
It's not a cream blush, but Margin by MAC is a nice shimmery peach/bronze. It's a lovely colour for the summer, however, it is a powder blush.

Hey there lovely, Sleek makeup have currently got 3 pan blush palletts out which gives you a chance to try 3 new colours in one and they're a tenner each so not really expensive at all, there' 5 diferent pallets to chose from and sleek blushes are amazingly pigmented and great quality. Maybe give them a go?

No wayyy, for me blush is one of the more exciting things to do!! I'd recommend Nars Penny Lane for pale skin, or Cactus Flower (it's REALLY not as scary as it looks). I'd also recommend some of the Nars multiples...so you can use them as lipsticks too! xo
ReplyDeletePenny Lane is one I've got on my 'list', its really nice and Cactus Flower is weirdly wearable.
DeleteI love blush but I just got bored with the shades I own.

I like the range of blushes Clinique has I would check them at the counter and have fun experimenting :) by the way great blog :)

I always forget about Clinique but I'll make sure to have a look next time I'm at a counter.

Deep Throat by NARS is one of my favourites. It's quite subtle and just gives your a skin a sheeny glow with a slight hint of pink. Benetint is also lovely throughout summer as it is so long lasting :)

Deep Throat looks lovely but I'm trying to stay away from pinks for a while. I love Benetint but havent used it in soooo long.
