Nailgirls is a nail polish brand that I've only recently heard about. The brand was created by two sisters, Jo and Lynda-Louise Burrell. All polishes are 4 Free - No Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate, Camphor, Toulene and with limited edition ranges to match the fashion catwalk collections each season.
I received Blue #4 which is described as shimmering blue grey. The polish came inside its own Nailgirls bag along with a 'How To' guide.
The brush is long and easy to work with but because the part above the brush (inside the cap) is longer than most other polishes you need to make sure the brush isnt overloaded or you will just end up flooding the nail. The formulation is on the runny side but in no way thin, I know thats a contradiction right there. I dont know if all Nailgirl polishes have the same consistency as I've only tried one colour but #4 Blue was opaque with 2 coats. Indoors the shade appears more blue but outside it leans more grey, which I think I prefer.
I've got this on my nails at them mo and so far there's been no chipping or tip wear. Have you heard of/tried any polishes from this brand before?
All Nailgirls products can be found here, the polishes retail at £10.50 for 15ml.
Sample sent for review.

ReplyDeleteCute colour, and I've also not heard of the brand before but might look into them as I'm always on the lookout for new brands :)
