Leonor Greyl Regenerescence Naturelle.

This is probably going to be the most positive review I've ever written, sick bags at the ready.

I've mentioned a few times now about how my scalp drives me crazy.. Its dry, itchy, easily irritated and I have no idea why. It's only been the last few years or so that its been giving me jip, I've tried every shampoo/treatment you can think of, I've used chemical and organic products without much success and its got to the point now that I'm sure the hair around my hairline is getting thinner and obviously if your scalp isnt in tip top condition then your hair isnt going to be either.

Regenerescence Naturelle is a pre shampoo treatment and as you can probably guess, its worked like no other product ever has.

Some Info: 'The regenerating properties contained in the Borage oil and the Mimosa Tenuiflora oil are combined with the purifying benefits of the essential oils. It is suitable for all types of scalps and increases blood circulation, preventing deficiencies of the scalp. Apply section by section to a dry scalp, massaging gently in order to thoroughly distribute the product. Leave on for at least 15 minutes (or all night if desired) before using the shampoo or treatment product suitable for your hair type and scalp condition'

I part my hair down the middle and apply 3 small drops of oil along the parting, rubbing it gently into my scalp. I repeat the process untill I've reach both ears. From the crown down to the back of my hairline doesnt really give me any problems so I concentrate mostly from the front of my hairline to my crown. After I've applied the oil I massage my scalp for a few minutes to make sure I really work the oil into the scalp and to increase the blood circulation.I always leave it on over night to make sure I get the best results.

I havent changed my shampoo or conditioner, the only thing I've done is added this scalp oil into my routine and I honestly cannot believe what a difference it has made in such a short space of time. The oil is easily removed from the hair just by washing it as usual, it leaves no build-up behind and the best part.. My scalp is normal! I didnt have to use it over a number of weeks to see the results, I've only used it 3 times so far and I will continue to use it the night before I wash my hair (everytime). I'm actually scared of ever running out of this miracle oil.

If any of what I've said sounds like you then please try this, you'll kick yourself for not finding it sooner. I'm hoping the overall condition of my hair will also improve. Apparently the botanical and essential oils not only stimulate and purify the scalp but encourage hair growth too, so I'll report back if I notice any changes in my hair.

Leonor Greyl products contain nothing except natural ingredients. Regenerescence Naturelle can be found here.

Charles Worthington 40 Day Straight.

I've saw this advertised for a while now, at first I didnt pay any attention to it but the more I see it, the more it sucks me in. (same with everything)

The Blurb:
Get gorgeously straight, smooth and more manageable hair with natural bounce for up to 40 days. Completely safe and easy to apply in just 25 minutes, this patent-pending breakthrough treatment uses Cysteamine, a gentle and effective straightening active that re-programmes your hair memory and tames frizz.  It’s 100% free from formaldehyde and ammonia.  Get the ultra-glamorous results of a professional salon straightening treatment, all from the comfort of your home.

I was glad to see that it's free from formaldehyde and ammonia but my worry is how gentle the straightening active really is. If it tames frizz then thats great but what happens after the 40 days, will there be any damage caused like with a perm? It's basically the same thing, 40 Day Straight re-programmes the hair memory, thats what a perm does too and everyone knows what effect perming can have on the hair.

Does it really do what it says?
Has anyone tried it yet?

I have wavy hair and really want to try this. I dont want flat, thin, poker straight hair but some taming for my wannabe afro would come in handy.

If you want to read more about it then heres the link..

As far as I know, It's only available from Boots. RRP: £19.99

Ps: I'm going away for a few days so there wont be any posts from me for about a week but theres plenty I have to post about when I get home, couple NOTD's, which obviously arent nails of the day's anymore but anywho.. and nodoubt I'll buy more stuff I dont need.

Pps: I'll be uploading photos of the things I got for the giveaway.

Get Yer Oil On.

So 2 years ago I absolutely battered my hair with bleach, I'd gone from black to blonde but it wasnt long before I returned to the dark side.
To get my hair back into condition, I tried every treatment you can think of but for me, Moroccan Oil worked best. I'm almost at the end of my 100ml bottle now, theres probably enough left to see me through christmas but as you know, the price is ridiculous, over £30!
It does last for what seems like forever so I suppose the price isnt that bad. Anyway, instead of buying another bottle, I wanted to try something diiferent, something I wasnt lucky enough to receive in my September Glossybox

L'Oreal Mythic Oil

Most of the reviews seem to be good and its miles cheaper than Moroccan Oil. Has anyone tried both, how do they compare?

If there's any other oils you've tried and liked, let me know.
